Mauro Vítor Mendlowicz
Is graduate at Medicine from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (1982) and Ph.D. at Psychiatry from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1994). Has experience in Medicine, acting on the following subjects: anxiety disorders, violence, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and homicide. Is a Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Psychiatry and Mental Health (PROPSAM), IPUB/UFRJ. Was named one of the best researchers in the 2nd edition of Research.com ranking – discipline of Psychology.
Prof. William Berger
is a professor of Psychiatry at IPUB/UFRJ and a permanent faculty member of the Postgraduate Program in Psychiatry and Mental Health (PROPSAM) at the same university. Coordinates the Psychiatry and Mental Health course at the Department of Psychiatry and Legal Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine at
UFRJ, and the integrated laboratory of researches on stress (Laboratório integrado de pesquisa sobre estresse – LINPES); Has experience in the field of Medicine, with a focus on Psychiatry, primarily working on the following topics: post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), pidemiology, memory, and psychopharmacology.
Profa. Marcia Cristina Nascimento Dourado
Is a professor at the Institute of Psychiatry (IPUB) at UFRJ, Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Psychiatry and Mental Health (PROPSAM), and a Professor of the Professional Master’s Degree in Psychosocial Care at IPUB/UFRJ. Coordinates the Laboratory for Studies on Consciousness in Neurodegenerative Disorders (LabCons), specialized in research on cognitive and socio-emotional functioning in dementia and the health of dementia caregivers, and the Specialization Course in Psychogeriatrics at IPUB/UFRJ.
She is a Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) productivity fellow and a scientist of our state by Fundação Carlos Chagas Filho de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ).
